POUR KITS POLYURETHANE
Our wide selection of materials offers engineers freedom when designing new products. Choosing the right material is the first. You'll benefit from our knowledge and experience.
(Closed Cell foam) has a structure that does not allowing elements like liquids or air to pass through its body. Ideal for flotation & insulation.
(Open Cell foam) has a structure that "allows" liquids and air to pass through. Ideal for cushioning & filtration.
CONVOLUTED (EGG CRATE)
HIGH HEAT GASKETING MATERIAL
CLOSED CELL (MATERIALS)
Products listed are generally stocked items. Other products, colors and densities may be available upon request.
A system for rating a given foam material's thermal resistance to heat flow. The Higher R-rating the better the foam
Certain types of foam densities are determined by their weight (Pounds per cubic foot). Some rubbers like neoprene are measured by a durometer which measures the hardness of the foam. Filter foam is classed by its porous cell structure and is measured by pores per square inch PPI.
BLOCK: Rigid products are made in rather large blocks and can be cut to any shape or size
BUN: Flexible foam products are made from large "BUNS" and are easily cut to any size.
ROLL: Flexible foams that originate in large continuous "ROLLS" and are cut in strips or sheets.
POUR: Two-part chemical in liquid form. When properly mixed together forms into a rigid urethane.
SPRAY: Two-part compressed liquid chemical applied by spray gun kit.
